What a beautiful sunny afternoon we had

Prom Coast Food Collective

The Prom Coast Food Collective is a collaboration between small family farms, ethical producers and makers, and conscientious consumers who are passionate about good, local food.  All farms and producers are based in the South Gippsland and Bass Coast Shires.

Our multi-producer hub offers you a wide selection of products, and the knowledge that you're supporting the farmers and producers with every purchase that you make. There are no fees for the farmers and producers to come on board the Collective.  Consumers pay a $5 goodwill fee with their monthly order which enables the Collective to pay for website hosting, advertising and administration costs.

With an e-commerce site run through the Open Food Network, the Collective is a volunteer-run and wholly producer-led initiative, set up with the aim of helping the producers receive a fairer slice of the return for their produce than is usually available through supermarkets.  With over 20 producers and 250 products to choose from it really is becoming a delicious alternative to the mainstream.

The Prom Coast Food Collective is open for online business on the 1st day of each month.  Pick up your order on the 3rd Sunday of each month at the Blue Tree Honey Farm in Dumbalk, South Gippsland.

If you're unable to attend the Blue Tree Honey Farm in Dumbalk on a Sunday, we're now offering three extra pick up options for pick-up on the Monday following the 3rd Sunday Convergence:

1.  You can pick up your order in Meeniyan at the Meeniyan Pantry and Cellar , open from 10am to 7pm.

2.  Fish Creek at The Paddock Cafe  which is open from 8am-2pm.

3.  Lilydale: private residence.  Location will be advised on ordering.

4.  Somers: private residence.

5.  Coburg: private residence

6.  Phillip Island: private residence

7.  Inverloch: private residence

8.  For our Melbourne customers, pick up from Allergy Train, 922 Nepean Hwy, Hampton East 3188, between 8:00am-5:00pm Monday following close of orders.

Each of these options involves a small packing charge.  Just indicate your preferred pick-up location when you order.

You can pre-order, pre-pay, travel around our beautiful region, and swing on by to collect all your produce from one handy spot.

All orders are purchased online and must be paid in full prior to the pickup date.

How are we different from a farmers' market?

There's no vending on the day of the pickup...it's simply a delightful convergence of customers happily picking up their orders and chatting to the farmers who grew their food.

Come and shake the hand of the people who nourish you. It's a powerful expression of support.
